Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Picture It Sold Real Estate Media will take reasonable care in producing the Media but is not liable for any loss, damages, or costs incurred by the client or any third party arising from the use of the Media.

In the unlikely event of loss or damage to photographic materials due to equipment malfunction or other factors beyond our control, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid (Please see Refund Policy below).

Picture It Sold Real Estate Media is not liable for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations in the property listing information supplied by the client.  The client is responsible for verifying all property details.

​

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Picture It Sold Real Estate Media against all claims, damages, or expenses arising from the client's use of the Media.

Refund Policy - the basics

We strive to provide quality services with each photo shoot and media provided.  If you are not satisfied with the product, the customer can request a re-shoot at no additional cost.  This request must be made within 48-hours of receiving the media products, and the client must be present at re-shoot to approve the results.

If the client continues to be dissatisfied with the media package, Picture It Sold will offer a full refund with the condition that the client uses no photos from the media shoot, including uploading to MLS sites or for any other marketing platforms.

Exclusions to a refund include:

Unprepared Properties:  The photographer is not responsible for the property not being properly cleaned, staged, or prepared for the shoot.  Any re-shots due to these issues will incur an additional charge.

​

Subjective quality:  The photographer's professional creative judgement is typically final.  Disagreement over subjective artistic choices generally does not warrant a refund but Picture It sold is open to suggestions for future media photo shoots.

​

Virtual staging and Edits:  Advanced editing services are often non-refundable and require upfront payment.  Policies might offer a limited number of revisions instead.

Non-Refundable services

​

Edited Media Delivered:  After the media has been delivered due to time of travel, shooting, and editing.

​

Upfront deposits or retainers:  Deposits to secure a booking is non-refundable if the client cancels less than 48 hours before the booking is scheduled.  

​

Cancellations:  A client who cancels or reschedules a shoot within a 48-hour window may be charged $50.00.   For a cancellation or shooting within a 24-hour window, the client may be charged $75.00.

​

If a Picture it Sold photographer arrives at a property and the client cancels the shoot, client may be charged 25% of the quoted price.

​

Bad weather is unpredictable and can cause unexpected cancellations.  Depending on client preference, the interior can be done at scheduled time and a re-shoot scheduled for the exterior when the weather is appropriate.
